About the Education & Engagement Committee
The Education & Engagement Committee is passionate about ensuring that students have opportunities to practice the antiracist initiatives they were taught. Members of this committee develop and lead their own antiracist community projects. Anyone is free to join on these projects, developing resume-building skills and deepening their understanding of decolonizing white supremacy culture.
The main objectives of this committee are to engage with the greater Seattle area to challenge systems of power and structural racism through volunteer projects and events, as well as promote health education informed by our engagement experiences.
